What this file helps you do
Work from actual unit costs
The calculator has product, category and cost-per-unit fields alongside a target margin. Replace preset products and costs with the pack sizes and purchase costs you actually use.
Compare a target with today’s price
The sheet shows a calculated price for the margin target, a suggested retail figure, your current price and its gross margin. This makes the effect of a cost increase easier to inspect product by product.
Separate margin from the whole business
Use the price-status output to identify entries worth reviewing. Then consider host fees, card costs, service and customer response outside the product-level gross-margin calculation.

The main comparison is product cost versus selling price. Review host commission, payment fees and other operating expenses separately in the machine P&L before interpreting a gross margin as profit.
